Conflict Coaching When any participant in a conflict responds from a place of internal peace and strength, it stimulates positive change in others and in the relationship. Conflict resolution coaching provides individual support and education. Clients develop skills to negotiate every aspect of a relationship, learning to translate criticism and blame into values common to all and to create more satisfying lives for themselves.
For participants in mediation or Collaborative (Law) Practice, conflict coaching can improve one’s effectiveness, maximizing the efficiency of the process and minimizing cost. A skilled coach who refrains from taking sides and asks genuinely curious questions can encourage an understanding of circumstances particular to the conflict and the needs of the people involved.
Conflict resolution coaching is not to be used in lieu of professional advice from experts, and it is not psychotherapy, nor a substitute for mental health care.

At least I mean what I say, that's the same thing, you know."
"Not the same thing a bit," said the Hatter."
